Wendy Addison uses antique materials found at flea markets, including old sheet music, tarnished tinsel, vintage crepe paper Victorian scrap, and silver glass glitter, Addison’s work connects with some lost sense of magic from times past. Wendy’s will also bring a magical shadow puppet theatre that will play throughout the event. Marcia Ceppos from TINSEL TRADING, will also join us with her glittering stash of antique metal trims from the early 1900’s, perfect for holiday decorating. Her amazing inventory includes vintage millinary flowers, antique silk ribbons, French bouillion tassels and fringe, appliques, and hand made beaded flowers from a convent in the south of France. Anyone interested in crafting, decorating, sewing, or antiques will not want to miss this unique opportunity to shop from a world famous and historic trim store from the garment center of NYC.

Cooking with the seasons and perusing brocantes is a way of life in France. Join Sarah Anderson for a week-long trip of cooking, wine tasting, and antiquing in the most beautiful, lush part of the country.
A typical day begins with a visit to a farmers market or a stroll through a medieval village, antiquing at a brocante, along with a cooking class and a sumptuous meal served on the hillside terrace of Chateau Dumas overlooking the peaceful rolling countryside.
